Thunska Pansittivorakul

Thunska Pansittivorakul (b.October 1973) graduated with a degree in Art Education from Chulalongkorn University. He is a columnist for several magazines including Bioscope, a day, Thai Film Quarterly, Hamburger, Movie Time Weekly. He is the founder of, a website for non-mainstream Thai filmmakers with distinct styles. He has made several shorts and feature documentaries which have screened in a number of international film festivals including International Film Festival Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Vision du reel (Switzerland) Hong Kong International Film Festival. His documentary Happy Berry won the Grand Prize award at The 4th Taiwan International Documentary Festival 2004. His first 35mm film project Heartbreak Pavilion won the top award for the PPP (Pusan Promotion Plan) at The 10th Pusan International Film Festival 2005, South Korea. The film is to be produced by Apichatpong Weerasethakul.
